1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Pressed & Fresh Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) to you, the customer (“you” or “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Services Provided

Pressed & Fresh Ltd is a mobile laundry and ironing business offering:

Wash, Dry & Fold services

Ironing-only services

Bedding & home textile laundering

Subscription packages

Door-to-door collection and delivery

We do not provide dry cleaning services. All services are carried out using domestic or professional-grade laundry equipment and products.

3. Collection & Delivery

We offer door-to-door collection and delivery within our service area, currently covering Newport and nearby locations.

You will be contacted to confirm a suitable time for both collection and return.

If no one is available at the address, we may leave items in a previously agreed secure location. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once delivery has been made.

Missed or failed collections without prior notice may result in a rescheduling fee or refusal of service.

4. Turnaround Times

Standard service turnaround is 48–72 hours.

An express 24-hour turnaround is available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Turnaround times may vary due to high demand, weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will keep you informed of any delays.

5. Garment Handling & Liability

We use high-quality detergents and softeners as standard. Hypoallergenic and eco-friendly options are available upon request.

All clothing is washed and processed separately (never mixed with other customers' laundry).

We ask customers to check garment labels before submitting. We are not responsible for:

Damage caused by items without care labels

Shrinking, fading, or colour transfer due to manufacturer defects or incorrect prior washing

Items left in pockets (e.g. pens, tissues, valuables)

Natural wear and tear

6. Item Count, Pricing & Weight Limits

Pricing is based on item count, bag size, or individual items, depending on the service.

Underwear, socks, and similar small items are not counted, within reason (typically up to 7 sets per person).

Overloaded or oversized bags may incur a surcharge.

7. Special Items & Bedding

For bedding, curtains, and other household items, pricing is based on size and fabric. We may provide a tailored quote.

Ironing for household items (e.g. duvets, sheets) is available upon request.

We do not currently offer curtain or upholstery cleaning involving dry cleaning chemicals.

8. Payment Terms

Payment is due on or before return of the laundered items unless a prior arrangement is agreed.

We accept cash, card, bank transfer, or invoice (for regular customers).

Overdue payments may result in late fees and/or suspension of service.

9. Lost or Damaged Items

In the unlikely event of a loss or damage:

You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery

Claims must include photos or written description of the damage

Compensation is limited to 5x the cleaning cost of the item

Items without care labels are cleaned at your risk

10. Customer Belongings

Customers are advised to check all pockets and remove valuables before handing over laundry.

We are not responsible for any lost items not related to the laundry service (e.g. money, jewellery, USBs, etc.).

11. Promotions, Discounts & Vouchers

From time to time we may offer discounts, seasonal promotions, or referral bonuses.

These offers are at our discretion and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

Introductory offers and discounts (e.g. Blue Light Card) may require ID verification.

12. Use of Images for Marketing

We may occasionally take photos of laundered items (e.g. folded clothing, fresh linen) for promotional purposes.

No identifiable customer information is used or shared.

If you would prefer not to have your laundry items featured in marketing, you can opt out at any time by emailing sales@pressed-and-fresh.co.uk.

13. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect and process customer data in accordance with UK GDPR.

Your data is stored securely and will never be sold or shared for marketing.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service in the following circumstances:

Excessively soiled, contaminated, or biohazardous items

Abuse or mistreatment of staff

Repeated missed collections without notice

Safety concerns at collection or delivery address

15. Amendments

Pressed & Fresh Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these terms without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
